NewCold x Delft Solar Team: A partnership driven by innovation

We are proud to announce our sponsorship agreement with the Delft Solar Team, a partnership that brings together two organizations driven by innovation, technology, and a shared ambition to push boundaries.

At first glance, cold chain logistics and solar powered racing may seem like very different worlds. But the connection is clear. Both NewCold and the Delft Solar Team are young at heart, different by design, and committed to doing things smarter. This makes the collaboration a natural fit, a true meeting of minds.

In 2026, the Delft Solar Team will take on the Electrek American Solar Challenge: an eight day, 1,500 mile open road race from Minneapolis to Amarillo, following well known routes such as the Great River Road and Historic Route 66. It is a race that pushes the limits of energy efficient electric vehicle engineering and calls for precision, innovation, and resilience. These are qualities we recognize and value at NewCold.
